Getting Into "Treble"
*with intensely irish*
This year Intensely Irish had one very special competition routine - a pre-competitive small group called Celtic Fuzion. Fusing four of our Irish 1 dancers and four of our Irish 2 dancers, this routine featured both hardshoe and softshoe on stage at the same time!! Over the course of the 2017 competitive season, our dancers performed in Hamilton, Richmond Hill, and Niagara Falls. Between the intricate choreography, the two types of shoes, and the glittery costumes (including bubble socks) the routine looked amazing on stage. Every single dancer worked so hard over the course of the season and it really showed – the routine got stronger and stronger each time. In the end, our season was a huge success – not only were our dancers happy with their performances but we scored 90+ at each one of our four competitions. In addition, our girls finished 3rd Overall Pre-Competitive Junior Small Group at Fever Dance Competition (out of 14 routines) AND 2nd Overall Junior Pre-Competitive Junior Small Group at Terpsichore Dance Celebration (out of 21 routines)! What an amazing result! I can’t wait to see how our team continues to grow and develop next year!
