Getting Into "Treble"
*with intensely irish*
It is hard to believe that 2017 is already here! September seems like only yesterday, but soon St. Patrick's Day, the competition season, and even our year end show will be upon us...it seems like this year is going very fast! Sticking with our tradition of spreading Christmas cheer around the Kitchener-Waterloo Region, Intensely Irish spent the weekend before Christmas out performing! We started things off with a performance at A.R. Goudie Retirement Home, followed by performances at both the Kitchener Market and Fergus Place Retirement Home. We had a lot of fun performing both some traditional dances as well as some Christmas-inspired routines. All of our dancers performed very, very well, especially since many of our dancers were performing new routines. The next day a few of our older dancers continued to spread Christmas Spirit by performing at Shelter in the Storm’s Christmas Dinner for the homeless. Not only did we have a lot of fun, but we were very honoured to be able to give back to our community in such a special way! It was definitely a rewarding experience! Now our Intensely Irish dancers get a bit of a break to start preparing for both St. Patrick's Day and our 2017 Competitive Season. I can't wait to see how much our group will continue to grow over the next few weeks!!
